SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--SK Energy is planning maintenance shutdowns of two crude distillation units (CDU) and a residual fluid catalytic cracker (RFCC) at its 840,000 bbl/day Ulsan refinery during the second quarter of 2008, a source close to the South Korean refiner said on Wednesday.?xml:namespace>
SK Energy plans to shut down the 260,000 bbl/day CDU No 5 from 19 May until 26 June and would also shut down the 60,000 bbl/day CDU No 1 from 9 June until 20 June, added the source.
The refiner would also shut down its 56,000 bbl/day RFCC from 2 June until 3 July, the source said.
