SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Japanese aromatics major Nippon Oil has settled its benzene Asia contract price (ACP) for March $75/tonne (€49/tonne) higher than the previous month in line with the recent uptrend in US and Asia spot markets, said a company source on Friday.
It was settled at $1,090/tonne CFR (cost and freight)
Earlier in the week, the company announced the nominations at $1,130/tonne CFR Asia.
Meanwhile, Asia’s benzene prices were assessed largely stable at $1,085-1,095/tonne FOB (free on board)
