BASF starts Ludwigshafen cold flow improver plant

LONDON (ICIS news)--BASF has started up a new plant to produce Keroflux – chemicals which improve the flow of fuel and diesel in winter temperatures, the German company said on Tuesday.

 

The plant was built in Ludwigshafen, where feedstock is piped directly into component tanks, mixed and then transferred into tank trucks.

 

BASF did not disclose the size of the plant.
