HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Craig Morrison, president of Hexion Specialty Chemicals, will assume the same role at the combined Hexion and Huntsman, the US specialty chemicals company said on Wednesday.
Hexion said its acquisition of Huntsman was expected to be completed in the second quarter.
Peter Huntsman, president and chief executive of Huntsman, will become chairman of the combined company's board.
Donald Stanutz, president of Huntsman's performance products division, will become chief operating officer.
William Carter, Hexion's executive vice president and chief financial officer, will assume the same role in the combined company.
Under the proposal, Hexion will acquire Huntsman for $10.6bn (€7bn).
