Buyer, seller confirm Europe March PX at €795/t

LONDON (ICIS news)--Further confirmation of the European paraxylene (PX) March contract price at €795/tonne ($1,024/tonne), up €10/tonne on February, was heard on Friday.

A large consumer said it was happy to settle at this level, while a producer said it had followed this figure and considered the €10/tonne increase from February levels to be in line with expectations.

The contract was agreed on a FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe) basis.
