LONDON (ICIS news)--North America March and April seller contracts for polypropylene (PP) gained $45/tonne week on week on the London Metal Exchange, while the cash price increased by $30/tonne.
In linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), both Asia and North America monthly contracts were up $10/tonne on last week, with global prices dropping $10/tonne.
Crude oil prices, which have been creating record highs over the past three days, are losing their influence on the Asian petrochemical markets especially aromatics, market sources said on Friday.
