HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Start-up activities were ongoing at Flint Hills Resources' (FHR) Odessa olefins plant in Texas, the company said on Friday in a filing with state environmental regulators.

The Odessa site, which also produces polyolefins, was shut down on 11 February for unscheduled maintenance, and a restart began on 9 March, according to an emission report filed on that date with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

The site includes 95,000 tonnes/year polypropylene (PP) capacity and 295,000 tonnes/year polyethylene (PE) capacity, according to global chemical market intelligence service ICIS pricing.
