NewsFlashBrent crude falls to $105.05/bbl

LONDON (ICIS news)--Crude prices fell by more than $1/bbl on Monday to take Brent crude on ICE Futures close to $105/bbl as the world’s commodity markets slumped on concerns over the US banking system.

 

By 13:00 GMT, May Brent crude had hit a low of $105.05/bbl, a loss of $1.15 from the Friday close of $106.20, before recovering to around $105.15.

 

At the same time, April NYMEX light sweet crude futures was trading around $107.60/bbl, having hit a low of $107.08, a loss of $3.13 from the previous close.
