HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Brazil’s thermoplastic resin consumption in January-February totalled 839,600 tonnes, a 23% increase from one year earlier, industry association Abiquim said on Monday.
Abiquim did not cite a reason for the changes.The association said figures refer to polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA).
Abiquim said data are preliminary because polyethylene terephthalate (PET) figures were not included.
