TORONTO (ICIS news)--Jacobs has won an engineering contract for a fluid catalytic cracker (FCC) project at Total’s refinery in Antwerp, Belgium, the US firm said on Tuesday.
The project involves design and installation of a new FCC waste gas treatment unit to remove sulphur oxide emissions, Jacobs said without disclosing financial terms.
The FCC needed to be operational before 1 January 2010 for the refinery to comply with new Belgian environmental legislation, it added.
