SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Taiwan’s Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corp (FCFC) is due to restart its 150,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant at Mailiao on Monday after a 16-day turnaround, a company source said on Tuesday.
Its other 150,000 tonne/year PP line that was shut down on the same day for a turnaround was scheduled to resume production on 31 March, the source added.
Its remaining 150,000 tonne/year PP line was operating as usual, he said.
Taiwan’s other PP producers are Formosa Plastics and Taiwan Polypropylene.
