SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Kuwait Petroleum Corp (KPC) has issued a tender to sell 25,000 tonnes of full range naphtha for lifting in early May, industry sources said on Tuesday.

The company offered the cargo for 1-2 May loading from Mina Al Ahamadi, in a tender which will close on 25 March, and will be valid till 26 March.

KPC previously sold 75,000 tonne of naphtha at a premium of around $25/tonne FOB (free on board) Kuwait to Middle East quotes.

The recent tender offer could have been made after a few buyers dropped out of the recently concluded term contract for the company’s April 2008-March 2009 full range naphtha supplies on price differences.
