LONDON (ICIS news)--Global and regional plastics futures prices from the London Metal Exchange are given in the table below.

The construction of a major new polymer plant by Tobolsk-Polymer in Russia’s Tyumen region will begin in April at a cost of roubles (Rb) 52bn ($2.2bn/€1.4bn), the local government said in a statement over the weekend.

Thai polypropylene (PP) producer HMC Polymers plans to cut production at its 430,000 tonne/year plant at Mab Ta Phut in eastern Thailand in May and June due to planned reduction in its propylene feedstock supply.
