MOVES: MEGlobal names new vice president

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--MEGlobal has named Bob Brandt its vice president of manufacturing, the company said on Tuesday.

As vice president, Brandt will oversee the operations of three world-scale ethylene oxide (EO)-ethylene glycol (EG) plants in Alberta, Canada, MEGlobal said.

Brandt is currently the production leader for Dow Chemical's EO plant in Plaquemine, Louisiana.

MEGlobal is a joint venture made up of Dow and Petrochemical Industries Co (PIC) of Kuwait.
