Beijing Yanshan cancels aromatics unit shutdown

SHANGHAI (ICIS news)--Sinopec subsidiary Beijing Yanshan Co has called off the month-long turnaround at its reforming unit and the associated aromatics unit, a company official said on Thursday.

The official did not provide any reason for the cancellation of the shutdown which was originally scheduled to begin towards the end of March.

The aromatics unit produces 3,000 tonnes/month of benzene and 6,000 tonnes/month of toluene.
