LME Plastics: Toray files suit against SKC

LONDON (ICIS news)--Global and regional plastics futures prices from the London Metal Exchange are given in the table below. 

 

Japanese polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film producer Toray has filed a suit against global producer SKC in South Korea.

 

India’s Aria Chemicals Private Limited (ACPL) will set up the country’s first chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) plant in Cuddalore, Tamilnadu, at a cost of rupees (Rs) 450m ($11.3m).

 

SABIC polypropylene (PP) production at its facility Gelsenkirchen, Germany, was running erratically on Wednesday.
