HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Tighter supplies and a higher benzene contract pushed initial US March styrene monomer contracts to 71.00-74.75 cents/lb ($1,565-1,648/tonne), up 4.50-5.25 cents from February, a producer said on Friday.
The March benzene contract had settled at $3.97/gal FOB (free on board), up 43 cents from February.
Additional March FOB styrene contract settlements are expected to be heard during the week ending 11 April.
