Huntsman, Hexion extend merger deadline

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US producer Hexion Specialty Chemicals has extended the termination date of its Huntsman merger agreement by 90 days to 4 July, the companies said on Monday.

The extension would give more time for US regulators to review the proposed merger, Huntsman said.

The two companies said they would continue co-operating with regulators.
