BPC awards H2 April naphtha sell tender

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Bangladesh Petroleum Corp (BPC) has awarded its tender to sell 110,000 barrels of open-specification naphtha for lifting in the second half of April, industry sources said on Thursday.

The cargo was sold at a discount of $2.47/barrel to Singapore quotes FOB (free on board) Chittagong to a western trader.

The company offered the cargo for lifting over 25-28 April in a tender that closed on 8 April, and was valid till 13 April.

There were four participants in the tender.

The company previously sold a similar cargo at a discount of $2.74/barrel to Singapore quotes FOB Chittagong for lifting over 23-25 March.

BPC owns the country's sole refinery with a capacity of 11 million barrels/year. The refinery produces 1.8 million barrels/year of naphtha.
