LME Plastics: Iran's Jam starts HDPE exports

LONDON (ICIS news)--Global and regional plastics futures prices from the London Metal Exchange are given in the table below. 

 

Basell Australia has signed a sustainability covenant with Victoria state's Environment Protection Authority and the Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association (PACIA).

 

Iran's Jam Petrochemical has begun to export high density polyethylene (HDPE) from its recently started 300,000 tonne/year plant in Assaluyeh.

 

Good availability and flat demand were applying downward pressure to European polypropylene (PP) prices in April, in spite of one producer announcement aimed at bringing them up.
