LME Plastics: China's plastic demand seen stable

LONDON (ICIS news)--Global and regional plastics futures prices from the London Metal Exchange are given in the table below. 

 

China’s plastics demand is expected to show stable growth this year as activities relating to the Beijing Olympic Games drive local consumption, and the environmental friendly plastics sector presents new business opportunities.

 

SABIC’s polypropylene (PP) output at Geleen in the Netherlands and Gelsenkirchen in Germany is back to normal after it sorted out some production hiccups.
