NEW DELHI (ICIS news)--India’s packaging films major Radha Madhav Corporation (RMC) announced on Monday the start of “partial commercial production” at new unit at Daman, a Central Government administered territory, which is near the chemical town of Vapi in Gujarat State.

In a communication to the stock exchanges, RMC said this unit was part of “the company’s foray into high-end pharma packaging business”.

The company did not provide additional information on the unit.

However, the company said in an earlier annual report that it was setting up its fifth unit at Daman with capacity of 22,150 tonnes/year of pharma-grade packaging products.
