NYMEX gasoline hits another record at 305.07 cts

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--The May NYMEX reformulated blendstock for oxygenate blending (RBOB) gasoline contract settled on Wednesday at a record high of 305.07 cents/gal, due to a government-reported drop in stockpiles, according to trade sources.

May RBOB settled up 3.43 cents from Tuesday, the second consecutive record high settlement this week.

During trading, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said total motor gasoline stockpiles were 212.6m bbl for the week ended 18 April, a 3.2m bbl decline from the previous week.
