SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Iran’s National Petrochemical Co (NPC) has restarted production at its 1m tonne/year methanol plant in Fanavaran, Bandar Imam, on Monday and was now running normally, a company source said on Thursday.

The plant was shut on 12 April for repairs.

The company’s other 1.65m tonne/year methanol facility in Zagros was expected to be shut down for about 10 days from 3 May for minor repairs although this plan could not yet be confirmed, added the source.
