HOUSTON (ICIS news)--The 1.89m tonne/year M5000 methanol plant in Trinidad is experiencing technical issues that will take 10-15 days to address, the plant’s North American marketer said on Thursday.

The email from Southern Chemical did not specify whether the plant was shut down because of the problems or operating at reduced rates.

The M5000 plant is operated by Methanol Holdings (Trinidad) Ltd (MHTL).
