BPCL awards early May naphtha sell tender

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--India’s Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) has awarded its tender to sell 27,000 tonnes of low aromatics naphtha (LAN), industry sources said on Friday.

The cargo, which was for lifting over 1-5 May, was sold at a premium of around $5-6/tonne over Middle East quotes FOB (free on board) Kochi. Buyer details remain sketchy.

This was possibly the first spot cargo BPCL was supplying from its Kochi refinery this year.

BPCL previously sold a 30,000-tonne cargo at a premium of $10.12/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board) Mumbai to a western trader for lifting over 10-15 April.
