SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Indian Oil Corp (IOC) has awarded a naphtha sell tender for second half of May lifting from Haldia at a $19.50/tonne discount from Middle East quotes, industry sources said on Monday.

The tender offered a 15,000-16,000 tonne cargo of naphtha to be lifted on 17-21 May from Haldia. The tender had closed on 24 April, with validity until 25 April.
The cargo was sold at a huge discount, considering it was not enough to fill up a medium-range vessel, sources said.
IOC had also just sold a 30,000 tonne cargo to be lifted from its Kandla refinery over 18-21 May at a premium of $7/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board) Kandla.
