LME Plastics: TPC plans shutdown of LDPE unit

LONDON (ICIS news)--Global and regional plastics futures prices from the London Metal Exchange are given in the table below. 

 

The Polyolefin Co (TPC) plans to shut down its 180,000 tonne/year low density polyethylene (LDPE) unit on Singapore's Jurong island from mid-July until the end of August for an annual maintenance turnaround.

 

Chevron Phillips Chemical is restarting a normal alpha olefins unit at its Cedar Bayou, Texas, plant following a scheduled turnaround.
