SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Tongsuh Petrochemical will turn around its 300,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile (ACN) plant at Ulsan, South Korea, starting 25 May, a company source said on Friday.

The turnaround was expected to last three weeks, he added.

Tongsuh is a fully-owned subsidiary of major Japanese acrylonitrile producer, Asahi Kasei, which shut down its 200,000 tonne/year ACN unit at Mizushima, Japan in mid-March for a one-month turnaround.
