SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--South Korean polypropylene (PP) producer Polymirae has ramped up production at its Yeochun-based facility to 100% capacity after restarting it on Sunday, a company source said on Tuesday.

The 600,000 tonne/year facility was shut down unexpectedly on 4 May due to disruption in its propylene feedstock supply. Production loss due to the unexpected outage was estimated at 10,000 tonnes, he said.

Other key PP producers in South Korea include Honam Petrochemical and Korea Petrochemical Industry Co.
