Shell's base oil refinery operating normally

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Shell’s 380,000 tonne/year group I base oil refinery at Bukom in Singapore is operating normally, a company source said on Tuesday.

There had been talk in the market that the base oil refinery had been shut down or was facing production cuts since late last week.

While the main refinery was undergoing routine maintenance, the base oils production unit was unaffected, the source added.
