NPC shuts Zagros methanol, Fanavaran ops normal

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Iran’s National Petrochemical Co (NPC) expected to restart its 1.65m tonne/year methanol facility at Zagros by the coming weekend, said a company source on Wednesday.

The unit was shut on 3 May for repairs.

The other 1m tonne/year methanol plant in Fanavaran, Bandar Imam, was running normally and producing around 2,600 tonnes/day, added the source.
