LONDON (ICIS news)--Dutch chemicals company AkzoNobel will move the London base it gained with the acquisition of the UK's ICI from Manchester Square to a new office in Portland House, near Victoria station, it said on Wednesday.

“We’re very keen to make swift and efficient progress with all aspects of the ICI integration and it is pleasing to have agreed this transaction so quickly,” said AkzoNobel CEO Hans Wijers.

About 75 employees were to be transferred to the new location and were due to be in place by the end of June, it added.
