EVENING SNAPSHOT - Asia Markets Summary

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Here is Friday’s end-of-day Asian oil and chemical market summary from ICIS pricing.

 

 

CRUDE: June WTI $125.23/bbl up $1.11 July BRENT $123.89/bbl up $1.26

 

Crude futures gained more than $1/bbl in trade on Friday afternoon in Asia. Prices were supported by buoyant distillates markets amid strong demand from China and Europe and limited supply.

 

 

NAPHTHA: Asian naphtha prices closed higher Friday. First half July prices indications were pegged at $1,026.50-1,027.50/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Japan, second half July at $1,026.50-1,027.50/tonne CFR Japan and first half August at $1,026.50-1,027.50/tonne CFR Japan

 

 

BENZENE: Prices were notionally assessed unchanged at $1,235-1,250/tonne FOB (free on board) Korea, amid sluggish trading. No deals were heard with an offer heard at $1,243/tonne FOB Korea against a bid at $1,228/tonne FOB Korea for a big berth any July loading cargo

 

 

TOLUENE: Prices were notionally assessed stable at $1,150-1,160/tonne FOB Korea, amid thin discussions heard. A deal was heard at $1,159/tonne FOB Korea for July loading.
