HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Here is Friday’s end-of-day
CRUDE: WTI $126.70/bbl (up 41 cents), BRENT $124.99/bbl (up $2.36)
US crude futures rose a few cents in after-hours electronic Globex trading, extending the gains posted during the normal floor session. Tight diesel supplies supported the energy complex, lifting WTI (West Texas Intermediate) to an all-time high of $127.82/bbl before retreating to settle at a record $126.29/bbl.
*Brent reflects the value of the ICE settlement on the day.
NATURAL GAS: $11.094, down 30.5 cents
Natural gas futures pricing continued to slide down on a larger-than forecast build in domestic stockpiles.
RBOB: $3.2235/gal, up 5.77 cents
The reformulated blendstock for oxygenate blending (RBOB) contract settled at a record high, driven by the record high set in crude oil during the day.
BENZENE: May benzene spot levels were said to be at $4.13-4.15/gal FOB HTC,
ETHYLENE:
PROPYLENE: US spot propylene market activity remained subdued. Refinery grade propylene (RGP) for May was last heard traded at 63.75 cents/lb on 14 May.
