Egypt issues term naphtha sell tender for H2 2008

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Egyptian General Petroleum Corp (EGPC) has issued a term tender to sell full-range naphtha for the second half of the year, trading sources said on Thursday.

 

The tender offers 24 cargoes and two optional cargoes of 35,000 tonnes  full range naphtha  each  to be lifted from a refinery in the Suez and 16 cargoes and two optional cargoes of 25,000 tonnes each  from Alexandria for lifting over July to December.

The tender closes on 3 June with validity until 12 June.

 

Meanwhile, India's Reliance Industries Ltd had secured 700,000 tonnes of naphtha

Suez at premiums of $8-$17/tonne to Middle East quotes over July-December 2007.

 

EGPC has sold 770,000 tonnes of naphtha from the Suez refinery at a discount of $2/tonne to a premium of $12.50/tonne over January-June 2008.
