Petron awards 5,000 tonne xylene sell tender

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Philippines-based Petron Corp awarded a sell tender for a 5,000 tonne June loading isomer grade xylene cargo late on Wednesday, said a source close to the company on Thursday.

 

The sell tender was announced last Friday and the company had accepted bids until Wednesday, the source added.

 

The source declined to reveal any details of the awarded value.

 

Isomer grade xylene prices in Asia were notionally assessed higher at $1,215-1,235/tonne FOB (free on board) Korea, according to global chemical market intelligence service ICIS pricing.
