LONDON (ICIS news)--Air Liquide has agreed to buy a controlling stake in the chemical management division of US-based Edwards Vacuum, the France-based group said on Tuesday.?xml:namespace>
Air Liquide said the acquisition would complement its electronics division’s position in the high purity fluid and equipment and installation sector, particularly in the ?xml:namespace>
The business employs about 120 people and achieved sales of $50m (€32m) in 2007.
The deal is expected to close in June following regulatory approval.
