LONDON (ICIS news)--INEOS expects its refinery in Grangemouth, Scotland, to be running at normal rates on Saturday for the first time since striking workers forced its closure in April, a company spokesman said on Friday.
The 700,000 bbl/day refinery was expected to be fully online by 18 May but a small process fire has delayed its restart by almost two weeks.
Earlier INEOS announced it had lifted force majeure on polypropylene from Grangemouth. The measure was put in place ahead of the strike on 27 April.
