LONDON (ICIS news)--Dow Corning has expanded its silicone rubber operations at its facility in Wiesbaden, Germany, to meet the growing demand for the product in Europe and the Middle East, the US-owned company said.

“This latest investment in a centralised production and warehousing facility furthers Dow Corning’s ability to provide customers with quality products, services and improved delivery performance,” the company added.
The expansion had created additional high consistency rubber (HCR) capacity but the plant would also continue to produce liquid silicone rubber, Dow Corning said, without going into specifics.
