LONDON (ICIS news)--Russia’s Kuibyshevazot has reduced its caprolactum and polyamide output by 30% on the back of an upsurge in domestic sulphuric acid and benzene prices, the company said on Tuesday.
Supplies would be secured only for internal consumption, affiliated companies and consumers with long-term contracts.
Kuibyshevazot produced 167,000 tonnes of caprolactum and 72,200 tonnes of polyamide in 2007, the Togliatti-based company said on its website.
