LONDON (ICIS news)--Abu Dhabi Basic Industry Chemical (ADBIC) is to build the first industrial polymers cluster, the Abu Dhabi Polymers Park, in the United Arab Emirates, a company spokesman said on Wednesday.

The park will span 4.5m square metres with up to 1m tonnes per year conversion capacity of a wide range of resins, according to information on its website.
Financial details have not been disclosed by the company and the completion date was not known.
ADBIC described the park as having competitive infrastructure, utilities, labour and raw materials, custom free imports and exports and zero tax on company and private income.
The Government-owned company is to launch the polymers park at a press conference on June 10.
