HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Peruvian producer Pure Biofuels has mechanically completed its main biodiesel plant, putting it on track to start production in the third quarter, the company said on Wednesday.
The plant has a capacity of 52m gal (196.8m litres)/year, according to the company. The site covers 4.7ha (12 acres) near the port of Callao.
Now that the plant is mechanically complete, it is ready for testing, Pure Biofuels said. Full production could start in the third quarter.
