The cargoes were said to have been sold at a premium of around $20/tonne to Middle East quotes on an FOB (free on board) basis for lifting over mid-June.
Some major players had earlier refrained from buying the cargoes, sources said.
Reliance last sold a 75,000 tonne cargo to the same trader at around the same premiums for lifting over 29-30 March from Sikka.
