MOVES: Switzerland's SGCI elects new president

TORONTO (ICIS news)--Switzerland’s chemical and pharmaceutical industry association SGCI Chemie Pharma has elected Christoph Mäder president, it said on Friday.

 

Mäder, a member of the executive committee of Syngenta, succeeds Rudolf Wehrli from Clariant.

 

SGCI also elected three new board members, it said.

 

Silvio Ponti from Sika, Hanspeter Quodt from MSD Schweiz and Christian Salomon from Givaudan were elected, replacing  Walter Gruebler from Sika, Clariant’s Wehrli as well as Marc Neuschwander, the former head of Bayer's operations in Switzerland.
