US weekly propylene stocks up 5.3% - EIA

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US weekly non-fuel use propylene inventories rose by 5.3% in the week ended 6 June from a week earlier, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.

US propylene inventories ended last week at 1.819m bbl. However, that is down by 30% from 2.612m bbl one year earlier, according to EIA data.

Non-fuel use propylene, as defined by the EIA, is intended for petrochemical manufacturing, including polymer and chemical grade propylene.
