SHANGHAI (ICIS news)--China-based Fujian Jinlun Petrochemical Fiber Industrial Co plans to produce on-spec polyester filament yarn (PFY) at its new polyester plant today, a company source said.

The new plant with a capacity of 200,000 tonnes/year started up recently. Construction on the plant was completed in less than a year.

The company in the southern Chinese province of Fujian operates another 200,000 tonne/year polyester stable fibre (PSF) plant at the same site.
