BAHRAIN (ICIS news)--Saudi Arabian producer Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical (PetroRabigh) is outsourcing its inbound and outbound logistics for its 1.3m tonne/year cracker and derivatives complex, a company manager said on Monday.
The outbound logistics will be handled by Rabigh Petrochemical Logistics, a joint venture created by Majdoi and Sumitomo Warehouse, said Abdulla Qahtani, manager procurements and contracts for PetroRabigh.
Qahtani was talking on the sidelines of the Middle East Petrochemicals 2008 conference.
The inbound logistics will be handled by US-based Expeditiors, he said.
PetroRabigh has signed 10-year contracts with the two companies, Qahtani said.
