Hexion in routine maintenance at Texas site

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Hexion is performing routine maintenance at its Deer Park, Texas facility, which produces epoxy resins among other products, a company spokesman said on Wednesday.

Peter Loscocco said the shutdown would extend through two weeks, but did not specify which units would be shut down.

The Deer Park site capacities include 265,000 tonnes/year bisphenol-A and 133,000 tonnes/year epoxy resin, according to data from global chemical market intelligence service ICIS pricing.
