Jacobs wins Lanxess butyl project contract

TORONTO (ICIS news)--Jacobs has won a contract for work on Lanxess’s 100,000 tonne/year butyl rubber project in Singapore, the US petrochemicals engineering firm said on Tuesday.

 

Jacobs’ contract included front end loading services, it said.

 

Construction of the plant on Singapore’s petrochemical hub on Jurong Island was expected to begin early next year, with completion by the end of 2010, Jacobs said.
